Ages: 0-3years old (from toddlers just beginning to walk to children who are in day care) Lesson Time: 2 or 3 hours 1～5 Days per week (Students are to be dropped off and picked up by their parents) Teachers: One native English teacher and one native Japanese teacher. Class size: 7-10 students Detail: Kitty Club's preschool International Course is designed first and foremost to give children their first opportunity to learn English in a relaxed and fun environment. It is also designed to give them a positive experience of being separated from their parents, while at the same time teaching them valuable social skills. For many students, this may be their first time to be separated from their parents- a fact that causes many children to cry. However, this is a natural reaction and within a small amount of time most students grow accustomed to, and eventually come to love their time in class. This is a very important part of a child's growth and development. Moreover, the social interaction and independence gained from our classes is not solely the product of our teaching methods, but a combination of our superb curriculum and class environment. Regarding our curriculum, the Kid's International preschool course consists of a diverse mix of the following activities: free play-time with fellow students, clean-up training, song and music training, speaking and pronunciation training, manners, action games and other activities. An important aspect of our curriculum involves not only English training, but also opportunities for personal growth and social development - a fact that separates Kitty from other English Schools. |
